DIFFERENT TYPES OF ENTREPRENEURS

What type of entrepreneur are you
Before you should start any business you should first find out what kind of entrepreneur are you.
I learned that the entrepreneurs are usually divided into 4 types
- Mission bases entrapernuor
- Passion based entrepreneur
- Opportunity based entrepreneur
- Undecided entrepreneur
Let’s walk thru them
Mission-based entrepreneur
An entrepreneur that bases his business on some mission he is deeply connected to.
He tries to help people with a specific problem.
He is the one that is trying to right the wrongs of the world.
It should not be confused with non-profit organizations.
these entrepreneurs have a goal and mission but profit in mind.
The best examples of it would be an entrepreneur that has for example some acne skin care cure.
They all aim to make a world a healthier place and help people live a healthier life, but for a price.
So mission-based entrepreneur can be an entrepreneur who has suffered some bad health condition as a kid, let’s say acne and now he wants the world to be acne free:D
He invents a cure for kids with acne problems but he sells the cure for profit.
Passion based entrepreneur
Passion based is when you make your passion a business.
Examples of passion-based entrepreneurs would-be musicians, athletes, artists…
Opportunity based entrepreneur
An entrepreneur that sees opportunity everywhere.
The classic entrepreneur. The one that sees the need and tries to benefit from it.
Recently with this coronavirus, many entrepreneurs seized the opportunity to start working on health masks, or hand sanitizers, or toilet paper.
They scan the market and look for opportunities.
They are not mission or passion motivated but by opportunity. Never had shortage of ideas.
Undecided entrepreneurs
They want to start a business but not sure which one.
Usually, most entrepreneurs start here until they get more clarity about which market they want to be in.
They don’t have passion or mission and they don’t see opportunities everywhere.
This is what you need to do if you are here.
START A PRACTICE BUSINESS!
Try something, anything!
It can be something online or offline and see where the journey will take you. With time you will figure it out what market will suit you best!
And of course, you can be a mix of these 4 types.
