Look at your profile on social media. Look at the content you are sharing.

Look at your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and answer me this.

Have you shared or positively comment on any post your friend entrepreneurs have shared about his/her business?

Probably not! If you did I applaud you!

Why is that?

Why are we so quick to share, like, and talk about what some random celebrity or athlete did, that we have no connection to, and yet so few likes and shares and positive comments on people we know and see every day that happens to have their own business.

We all have people with businesses and for whatever reason, we choose not to support them, well at least not that much online. really curious why that is?

Is it jealousy?
Believe me, most of the small business entrepreneurs are struggling at the moment, at least the ones I know, unfortunately!

Could we be that selfish?
I really hope not!

Entrepreneurs have invested the time, money, and effort to try to build something and if you are a good friend or neighbor and you know they struggle and have seen them do all the work to put their business on their feet you should at least appreciate that.

And you can help, we all can, and should. It’s free to do so. It just takes some humanity and less than a minute of your time.

So what content do you value more?

Christiano Ronaldo goals, Kim Kardashian nude photo, or your friend’s content about his product or service?

Right now you will probably say the first two, but it should not be like that.

I encourage you to change your mindset and share things that have true value.

Any shared post about your friend’s product or business has way more value than an image or a cat that you are so quick to share because it’s cute.

If you really want to help your entrepreneur friend then become a customer!

Yes, a customer!

If your friend has a bar, go and drink coffee there. If he has a barbershop go and get your hear done there…
You don’t have to go there all the time but go there. Go there and use social media to promote your friend’s work. One post is all you need!
