My lecture

Each one, teach one
At the invitation of dr.sc. Suzana Markovic on March 18. at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management I gave a lecture entitled “Futurism of today: Do we recognize changes in tourism due to the application of XR technologies.
The lecture was attended by about 40 4th year students and many of them via zoom live stream.
I am grateful for the opportunity to pass on my knowledge to young forces, future managers in the tourism sector, and I hope to “direct” them a little into the digital future that lies ahead.
I am especially glad that this is the first time that students have seen/tried VR and AR technology at their faculty, which shows that institutions are preparing (if not already) to implement XR technologies as part of teaching, which in my opinion is a logical sequence.
On this great day, we opened a lot of new topics and opportunities for collaboration that I look forward to.
A review that made my life
After my lecture, the students had to give me a review.
They were asked about how did they like the lecture, presentation, was it clear enough, was it interesting, do they want more content like that during their study…
I am happy to say that I got all 5’s 😀
But one in particular review made my day. One of the students wrote:
In my 4 years of study, this is the best guest lecture and the overall experience of the education
