Helping people get further, faster!
Born and raised in Vukovar – City of Heroes in 1984.
Childhood was fun until the Homeland war started in my hometown and I was forced to move with my family from our home.
We moved from several cities in a short period and ended up in Poreč where I started my elementary education.
At age 15 I got invited to our capital city to play basketball.
After 4 great high school seasons, I got invited to play college basketball in the USA.
After almost 5 years in the USA, I come back home to Croatia with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
My major (focus) was international business and my minor was marketing.
I graduated in 2008 and for the first time at Indiana Tech University history, our varsity basketball team Warriors become NAIA Champions!
After completing the goals that I set for myself, a diploma, and a basketball championship ring, I come back to my hometown and started working.
In my 4th grade, I started to play basketball, soon become a big fan of the legendary Chicago Bulls.
I started growing and loving the game more and more.
I had my first dunk when I was 14 years and 174 cm tall.
One day at the school gym, a friend told me:
Man, you can dunk did you know that?
I said NO I cant!
He said: I just watch your hand above the rim, you can dunk! You don’t believe me, don’t you?
I said: No I don’t!
He goes: Listen, I will give you 10$ if you really try to dunk! BUT you have to really try.
I said: Haha OK.
So I grab the ball..Jumped..Dunked! Crazy feeling..Still gives me goosebumps when I think of it. Those who can dunk can relate 😀
Role models @ the time: Petrović, Vince Carter, Kukoč, Jordan, Iverson
My game started to get better and people started noticing. After the 1st year of high school, I got invited back to our capital to play basketball for this new ambitious team that was forming, Cedevita.
After 4 successful seasons, I got invited to play basketball at college level.
I still remember my 1st practice in the USA. I could bearly walk after it and I was thinking about how there is no way I could do this for 4 more years.
But I did, and I remember when they give me the diploma that my first thought was time has passed so quickly from that first hard practice.
In those 4.5 years in the USA, i play for few colleges and meet some great people and players that I still talk to today and that is something I am really proud of.
My senior year our varsity basketball team won NAIA Conference Championship and we were the best team in Indiana in 2008. That was first time in Indiana Tech history that a varsity basketball team did that and that is definitely something I’m proud of. And I have a cool championship ring as a reminder 😀
Music makes a big part of my life. I could not live without it. I have several playlists i have.
Special one for work, working out, relaxing, partying
Soon with bball, I got introduced to hip-hop, rap and the 1st rap song I heard was “California Love” by 2Pac and Dr.Dre.
I got instantly hooked.
My best bball song to this day is Hit ’em High and i won my only dunk contest to this song 😀
